Injected at run time
The model only ever writes the name, like $STRIPE_KEY. The sandboxed process gets the value; the conversation never does.
Scrubbed on the way back
If a value shows up in any output, it is replaced with [secret:STRIPE_KEY] before a model, a log or a screen sees it.
